Raiders sign CB Jenkins

Alameda, CA – The Oakland Raiders added cornerback Mike Jenkins to their new-look defensive backfield on Tuesday.

Jenkins joins cornerback Tracy Porter, who was signed by the Raiders last Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Jenkins played in 13 games (two starts) with the Dallas Cowboys last season, recording 14 tackles and three passes defensed.

Originally selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft, Jenkins has 161 tackles, eight interceptions and 43 passes defensed in 71 career games (48 starts). He made the Pro Bowl in 2009.
