The Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned forward Michael Chaput and defenseman Cody Goloubef to their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass.

Chaput (shuh-POOT'), who turned 21 on Tuesday, was recalled as an emergency fill-in on Monday and was with the Blue Jackets at the morning skate before their game against San Jose. He has 11 goals and 17 assists in 67 games with Springfield, in his first season as a professional.

The 23-year-old Goloubef has appeared in 11 games with Columbus this season, scoring a goal with 10 hits, seven blocked shots and 14 shots. He scored his first career NHL goal on Feb. 11 in a 6-2 win over the Sharks. He also has five goals and seven assists in 32 games with Springfield.
