Celtic finished the first phase of the Scottish Premier League season in style, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Hibernian at Parkhead on Saturday.

Kris Commons bagged a brace with goals coming in the 16th and 52nd minutes while Mikael Lustig added a third to power the Hoops to 69 points from their 33 matches.

Hibernian dropped its final three matches of the first phase to remain in the relegation group with 40 points on the season.

Dundee was at the foot of the Premier League table for much of the season, but the club was able to claim just its fifth victory of the season by picking up a 2-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Saturday. Gary Harkins scored twice for the visitors while Kris Boyd notched Killie's lone goal.

Motherwell finished the first phase in second place with 54 points following its 2-2 draw with St. Mirren on Saturday, and third-place Inverness was held to a 0-0 home draw by fourth-place St. Johnstone.

Rounding out the championship table for the second phase are Ross County, which suffered a 4-2 loss at Hearts on Saturday, and Dundee United, which received a 1-0 win over Aberdeen on Saturday thanks to Rory Boulding's strike in the third minute of stoppage time.
