Kings send Drewiske to Canadiens

Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday shipped defenseman Davis Drewiske to the Montreal Canadiens for a fifth-round selection in the upcoming draft.

The 28-year-old Drewiske totaled a goal and four points in 20 games for the defending Stanley Cup champs this season.

A four-year starter with Wisconsin from 2004-08, Drewiske is a veteran of 126 NHL games -- all with Los Angeles -- who has compiled 18 assists and 22 points.
