Chicago Bears cut veteran DT Matt Toeaina

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Chicago Bears have terminated veteran defensive tackle Matt Toeaina's contract.

The team announced the move on Tuesday.

Toeaina appeared in 36 games and made 24 starts over five seasons with the Bears. He had 66 tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and two tackles for loss.
