Bears release DT Toeaina

Lake Forest, IL – The Chicago Bears have released defensive tackle Matt Toeaina.

Toeaina was coming off a rough 2012 season, one in which he appeared in just three games because of a knee injury.

The 28-year-old Oregon product started all 12 games in which he played during 2011. He has amassed 50 tackles with two sacks over 36 games in six NFL seasons with the Bears.
