Juve begins busy three-week stretch against Inter

Milan, Italy – Juventus will embark on a six-game journey over the next three weeks that will go a long way toward determining the success of the club's season, and it all starts on Saturday at the San Siro against Inter Milan.

Following the Inter match, Juve will face Pescara, Lazio and AC Milan in Serie A play, while two legs against Bayern Munich in the Champions League are also included.

Fortunately for the Old Lady, a nine-point gap separates second-place Napoli from Juve in the league, offering a bit of room for error.

Although Inter has fallen 18 points back the defending champions, Juve boss Antonio Conte knows the threat that the Nerazzurri poses.

"We've got a fixed target of reclaiming our Scudetto title and we can't afford any slip-ups," Conte said. "Inter have already shown that they're capable of beating anyone in a one-off encounter."

In fact, Inter already owns a 3-1 win at Juve this past November, and will be trying to complete its first season double over the league leaders since 2004.

Napoli snapped a five-game winless streak last time out by beating Atalanta and the club hopes to keep hold of second place with three more points at Torino.

AC Milan brings an 11-game unbeaten streak into its match at Chievo on Saturday, while fourth-place Fiorentina trails Milan by three points for the third and final Champions League place and visits bottom-half Cagliari.

Roma has risen to fifth place in Serie A after a five-game unbeaten run and the capital side will expect to continue that streak with three more points at second-from-the-bottom Palermo.

After residing in the top four for much of the season, Lazio has slipped to seventh place after losing four of its last five games and the club hopes to claim three points at home against Catania, which sits only two points back.

Atalanta moved eight points clear of the relegation places with two wins in its last three games and the club hosts Sampdoria, which resides in the middle of the league.

A massive relegation six-pointer takes place at the Luigi Ferraris as Genoa hosts Siena with the two teams separated by one point for the final relegation place, last-place Pescara invades Parma, and Udinese hosts Bologna.
