Darron Stiles fired a 7-under 64 on Friday to grab a 1-stroke lead after two rounds of the Louisiana Open.

Stiles, a 5-time winner on the Web.com Tour, finished two rounds at 11-under- par 131. He earned his last tour win last year at the News Sentinel Open.

Arjun Atwal posted a 6-under 65 to move into second place at minus-10. Atwal won during the 2008 season on the Web.com Tour and on the PGA Tour in 2010.

Jason Gore, the tour's all-time leader in wins, also carded a 65 to move into a share of third place at 9-under-par 133. He was joined in third place at Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club by Ben Martin (67) and Troy Merritt (66).

Danny Ellis, who shared the first-round lead with John Peterson, carded 2- under 69. He slid into a share of sixth at minus-8 with Brett Wetterich (66), Edward Loar (66), Jim Herman (67) and Danny Lee (67).

Peterson tripped to a 1-over 72 and fell into a tie for 19th at 5-under 137.
