Carl Crawford got two hits and two RBIs in his second spring training appearance for the Dodgers, and Josh Beckett was scratched because of flu as Los Angeles lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 Monday.

After going 0 for 3 Sunday against Milwaukee in his delayed debut, Crawford again was the designated hitter. He lined a single to left in the third and singled in two runs in the fifth with a drive to center, both against Randall Delgado.

Crawford is coming off left elbow surgery on Aug. 23, two days before the Dodgers obtained him from Boston. He was slowed by nerve irritation in the elbow on March 1.

Beckett, acquired from the Red Sox in the same trade, threw 76 pitches over six innings in a simulated game rather than face the Diamondbacks.

Dodgers starter Josh Wall allowed Eric Hinske's RBI single in the second. Adam Eaton hit a two-run triple off Peter Moylan in the third and Paul Goldschmidt had a solo homer off Paco Rodriguez in the fourth.
