The University at Albany football program will play a 12-game schedule with five home dates as it enters CAA Football this season.

The Great Danes ended their run in the Northeast Conference with two straight titles and an FCS playoff berth in 2011.

Albany's home opener at the new 8,500-seat Bob Ford Field also will be its first CAA game as it takes on Rhode Island on Sept. 14.

The Great Danes also will host Central Connecticut State (Sept. 21) in non- conference action as well as new CAA rivals Towson (Oct. 19, Homecoming), Maine (Nov. 9) and New Hampshire (Nov. 16).
