Kayla Christopher scored off an offensive rebound with 8.2 seconds left to lift Chattanooga to a 64-63 victory over Davidson in the Southern Conference championship Monday.

The Lady Mocs (29-3) trailed throughout the second half until Christopher grabbed an offensive rebound on the weak side after two missed shots by her teammates and put it back in for the go-ahead score.

Davidson's Laura Murray missed a 15-footer at the buzzer that would have won the game.

It will be the Lady Mocs' ninth trip to the NCAA tournament in the last 13 seasons under coach Wes Moore.

Chattanooga overcome an 11-point second half deficit to deny Davidson its first ever trip to the NCAA tournament. Taylor Hall had 19 points and tournament MVP Ashlen Dewart was a force inside with 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Muray had 22 points, and Sophia Aleksandravicius had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Davidson.
