Dundee scored a pair of second-half goals to come away with a 2-1 result over St. Mirren on Wednesday at Dens Park.

St. Mirren opened the scoring through Dougie Imrie, who found the back of the net 20 minutes into the match, but the home side answered with two goals in a span of 10 minutes in the second half to steal all three points.

John Baird put the sides on level terms in the 68th minute before Jim McAlistair scored for Dundee in the 78th minute to put the hosts ahead, and they held on for the result.

Dundee came out on top for just the fourth time this season and still remains at the foot of the Scottish Premier League table with 18 points from 29 matches, while St. Mirren stays in 11th place with 32 points.
