(SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia 76ers hope to find some success when they entertain the Boston Celtics Wednesday from Wells Fargo Center.
The Sixers have lost three straight, six of seven and 13 of their last 16 games.
They dropped a 108-102 decision to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, as rookie Michael Carter-Williams led the way with 21 points and Tony Wroten chipped in 18. Thaddeus Young had 17 points for the Sixers, who rallied to make it interesting and shot 52.1 percent from the field.
However, the 76ers turned the ball over 26 times for 32 Brooklyn points.
"We have to be more responsible with the ball," said Sixers coach Brett Brown. "It bites us continually."
Philadelphia will also host the Los Angeles Lakers on this brief homestand and is 8-16 as the host.
The 76ers have lost five straight at home.
Boston was able to find the win column with Sunday's 96-89 triumph over the Orlando Magic, as Rajon Rondo turned in a solid performance with 19 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Jared Sullinger had 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Brandon Bass netted 19 points.
Bass was happy to see Rondo back to his old form.
"Very comfortable. Rondo is a coach on the floor and he's leading us. It felt great," Bass said.
Boston won for only the fourth time in its last 23 games.
The Celtics are 6-18 away from Beantown and just lost to the 76ers, 95-94, on Jan. 29 at home.
Boston has won eight of its last 12 trips to the City of Brotherly Love.
