Second-year Louisiana Tech coach Michael White quickly realized his team wasn't the best at shooting, rebounding or handling the ball.

But these Bulldogs run — constantly.

It's working for No. 25 Louisiana Tech, which is on a 17-game winning streak mainly because of its frantic, full-court press that's been so effective the past two months.

The Bulldogs (25-3, 15-0 Western Athletic Conference) can earn at least a share of the conference title with a victory over San Jose State (9-17, 3-12) on Saturday.

Louisiana Tech's defensive recipe doesn't require any stars — just an 11-player rotation that's a blur of the school's red, white and blue uniforms as it creates havoc for opponents. The Bulldogs hope their defense can carry them to their first NCAA tournament since 1991.
