Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek, along with Tampa Bay center Steven Stamkos and Ottawa Senators goaltender Ben Bishop, have been selected as the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending Feb. 24.

Voracek earned the First Star thanks to a career-best scoring run last week, posting a league-high 11 points (4G, 7A) in four games. The 23-year-old Czech scored at least one point in every contest, totaling a career-high four assists in a 7-0 win in Uniondale on Feb. 18, then registering his first career hat trick in a 6-5 win at Pittsburgh two days later.

After adding three more helpers in a 5-3 win over Winnipeg this past Saturday, Voracek moved into the top 10 in overall scoring with 22 points (7G, 15A) in 20 games this season.

Stamkos finished the week with eight points (4G, 4A) in four contests to claim the Second Star. The Tampa Bay sniper notched a goal and two assists in a 5-3 loss in Pittsburgh on Sunday, and now leads the NHL in goals (13) and points (29) in only 18 games.

Pressed into service due to a lower-body injury to starter Craig Anderson, Bishop was named the Third Star after going 3-0-0 with a 2.03 goals-against average in his three starts last week. Bishop's best performance was a 30-save effort in a 2-1 shootout win over the Devils one week ago.
