Adrien Coleman scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to bolster Bethune-Cookman in its third straight win 72-58 over Savannah State Monday night in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play.

The winning streak is the Wildcats' longest this season, and the double-double was Coleman's sixth this year, with three in his past four games. Javoris Bryant added 13 points off the bench, while Kevin Dukes had 12 points and Malik Jackson 10 for Bethune-Cookman (12-16, 7-6).

The Wildcats led 28-26 at halftime and stretched the edge to 47-34 on Jackson's tip-in with 12:18 to play. Savannah State (17-11, 10-3) never pulled within single digits again.

The loss snapped the Tigers' five-game winning streak. Preston Blackman and Rashad Hassan scored 14 points each for Savannah State, with Hassan adding 15 rebounds.

The Tigers made just 3 of 17 3-pointers with a 21-to-5 turnover-to-assist ratio. The Wildcats had 11 steals and 14 assists.
