Jelena Jankovic rallied for a three-set win over Karin Knapp in the semifinals of the Copa Claro Colsanitas tennis event and will meet Argentina's Paula Ormaechea for the crown.
Ormaechea reached her first career WTA final with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 victory over unknown Brazilian Teliana Pereira in Saturday's first semifinal before the top-seeded Jankovic claimed a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) triumph over Knapp.
Jankovic is 12-16 lifetime in WTA finals, including 0-2 last year. The former world No. 1 hasn't won a tournament since the spring of 2010 at Indian Wells.
