Renado Parker scored 20 points, leading four Portland State players in double figures, and the Vikings beat Eastern Washington 89-80 Monday night.

Michael Harthun scored 18, Aaron Moore had 17 points and nine rebounds and Gary Winston had 14 points for Portland State (7-16, 5-11 Big Sky), which kept its hopes alive to qualify for the conference's postseason tournament.

The Vikings shot 53 percent — 66 percent in the first half as they built a 43-31 lead.

Tyler Harvey led Eastern Washington with 23 points. Venky Jois had 17 points and nine rebounds, Jeffrey Forbes scored 17 and Martin Seiferth added 16 points and nine boards, but the Eagles (8-18, 6-10) fell one game behind the four-way tie for fifth in the Big Sky with four conference games to play. The top seven teams get into the conference tournament.
