The Boston Celtics will lose yet another player for the rest of the season.

Leandro Barbosa suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Monday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats. Barbosa was dishing a pass to Jeff Green when the injury occurred.

The 30-year-old underwent an MRI exam Tuesday but no surgery date has been scheduled.

Barbosa's injury marks the third Celtics player lost for the season. Rajon Rondo also suffered a torn ACL last month and back surgery has sidelined Jared Sullinger.

The 6-foot-3 guard has played in 41 games this season, averaging 5.2 points and 1.4 assists per game.

In nine seasons with Phoenix (2003-10), Toronto (2010-12), Indiana (2012) and Boston, Barbosa has averaged 12.0 points and 2.4 assists per contest.
