Montana won its 15th straight overall, the second-longest current streak in the nation, one behind Akron.

The Grizzlies took control in the first half. North Dakota shot 9 of 23 (39.1 percent) from the floor and committed 15 turnovers in the opening 20 minutes, helping Montana to a 40-21 lead at the break.
