Davion Berry had 21 points and five assists as Weber State defeated Southern Utah 75-58 Saturday night.

Scott Bamforth and Jordan Richardson added 15 points apiece for the Wildcats (16-5, 11-2 Big Sky), who hit 11 of 20 3-pointers and shot 53 percent overall from the field en route to their third straight win.

Jackson Stevenett scored 24 points and Damon Heuir had 18 for Southern Utah (10-13, 8-6). The Thunderbirds shot just 29 percent and had their five-game winning streak snapped — their longest in 11 years.

Bamforth and Royce Williams hit 3-pointers during a 9-2 run that put Weber State ahead 39-26 with 1:51 left in the first half. Southern Utah got within 39-31 at halftime, but Weber State pulled away and led by as many as 24 points in the second half.
