Jackson Martinez scored a hat trick to lead FC Porto to a 4-0 thrashing of Guimaraes that keeps the defending champions on top of the Portuguese Liga.

Eliaquim Mangala tallied the first goal after 14 minutes for the visitors, and Martinez took over from there, tallying his first shortly before halftime to put Porto up, 2-0.

Martinez kept going after halftime, netting goals in the 56th and 73rd minutes to complete the rout and take his goal total on the season to a league leading 18.

Benfica kept pace with Porto by claiming a 3-0 victory at home against second- from-the-bottom Setubal with goals from Enzo Perez, Lima and Rodrigo, while Braga finished in a 3-3 draw at Beira Mar thanks to Pedro's 77th-minute equalizer.
