Coming off a Patriot League championship season, Colgate University's football program will play a particularly tough non-conference schedule in 2013.

As part of their 12-game schedule, the Raiders will visit FBS member Air Force (Aug. 31) and New Hampshire (Sept. 14), and host first-year CAA Football members Albany (Sept. 7) and Stony Brook (Oct. 12). New Hampshire, another CAA member, owns the longest active streak of FCS playoff appearances at nine.

Colgate also will host Yale (Sept. 21) from the Ivy League and Patriot League members Bucknell (Nov. 2), Lehigh (Nov. 16) and Fordham (Nov. 23).

Coach Dick Biddle's squad also will visit Cornell (Oct. 5) from the Ivy League, and Patriot rivals Holy Cross (Oct. 19), Georgetown (Oct. 26) and Lafayette (Nov. 9).

Colgate's game against Fordham will not count toward the league standings because the Rams have been offering football scholarships since 2010. The rest of the league can announce scholarship classes for the first time next week.

The Raiders finished with an 8-4 record this past season, ranking No. 25 in The Sports Network FCS Top 25.
