PSG pulled off what is undoubtedly the biggest signing of the January transfer window on Thursday as it announced the signing of global superstar David Beckham.

Beckham has been out of contract and plotting his next move since leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy of MLS in December. It was revealed Tuesday that the former England captain was training in London with Arsenal in a bid to improve his fitness.

It ultimately did not take Beckham long to sort out his future as he passed a medical in the French capital on Thursday and is set to be unveiled in a news conference.

Beckham began his professional career at Manchester United before making the switch to Real Madrid in 2003 and later joining the Galaxy in 2007. During his time in MLS, the 37-year-old enjoyed loan stints at AC Milan in 2009 and 2010 where he played under now-PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti.
