Lugano moves to Malaga on loan

Malaga, Spain – PSG defender Diego Lugano completed a loan move to Malaga on Wednesday until the end of the season.

Lugano signed with PSG from Turkish side Fenerbahce in 2011, but after making 12 appearances in Ligue 1 in his first season in the French capital, Lugano has fallen down the pecking order and has yet to feature in a match this season.

The 32-year-old has been capped 72 times by Uruguay, and he will join a Malaga side that is fifth in La Liga and one that has the best defensive record in the league.
