Deportivo hires Paciencia as new coach

Madrid, Spain – Deportivo has announced that Domingos Paciencia has been hired as the club's new manager.

The former Sporting Lisbon manager replaces Jose Oltra, who was let go by the La Liga club on Sunday.

Paciencia has a tough road ahead of him, being tabbed with the responsibility of keeping Deportivo in Spain's top flight for another year. The club sits last in the league with just two wins through 17 matches.
