A person familiar with the situation says Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy will interview for the vacant head coaching positions with the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals this week.

The person, who spoke to The Associated Press on Monday on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to publicly speak about the interviews, said the talks would take place in Denver.

McCoy, who interviewed with the Miami Dolphins last year after retooling Denver's offense to fit Tim Tebow's skill set, burnished his head coaching credentials this season while helping guide Peyton Manning through his comeback season.

Manning returned from a year off to put up MVP numbers and lead Denver (13-3) to the top seed in the AFC playoffs with a league-best 11-game winning streak.
