Nate Wolters returned from injury and scored 18 points to lead South Dakota State past Cal State Bakersfield 69-63 on Sunday — the Jackrabbits' 23rd consecutive home victory.

Wolters, who missed two games with a sprained ankle, also had six assists and seven rebounds. Tony Fiegen added 16 points for South Dakota State (8-3), winner of seven of its last eight. The Jackrabbits' only loss in that stretch came on Tuesday at No. 14 Minnesota.

Brayden Carlson scored 12 points and Jordan Dykstra added 11 points for the Jackrabbits. Only Syracuse (28) and Kansas (26) have longer home-court winning streaks. South Dakota State's next six games are on the road.

Britton Williams led the Roadrunners (3-6) with 18 points. Stephon Carter scored 17 points and Brandon Barnes and Javante Maynor each scored 10 for Bakersfield.

The game was delayed 30 minutes due to a blizzard.
