Chelsea agrees to deal for Brazilian Wallace

London, England – Chelsea agreed to a deal with Fluminense to sign 18-year-old defender Wallace in the January transfer window on Tuesday.

As part of the deal, Wallace will remain with Fluminense until the end of the season before making the switch to the English Premier League.

The Brazil Under-20 international has played 18 times for Fluminense, helping the club win the Brazilian league championship, the Rio State League and the Guanabara Cup.
