San Jose State has accepted a bid to the Military Bowl.

The Spartans finished 10-2 overall this season, including 5-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. They won their final six regular-season games and finished second in the conference, behind only Utah State.

San Jose State will play a Mid-American Conference opponent in the Dec. 27 contest at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC.

The Spartans are 5-3 all-time in bowl games, including a 20-12 win over New Mexico in the 2006 New Mexico Bowl.
