Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David have been selected as the NFL's top rookies for the month of November.

Griffin, also the honoree for the opening month of the season, completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 719 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception in three games last month. He became the first rookie in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in consecutive games. The second overall pick of April's draft also rushed for 166 yards.

David led the NFL with 47 tackles during November, including a league-best 40 solo stops. He helped the Bucs to a 3-1 mark and anchored a defensive unit that led the league by allowing just 75.3 yards on the ground during the month.
