C.J. McCollum scored 30 points, including 14 straight late in the second half to break open a close game, and Lehigh posted its fourth straight win with a 77-66 defeat of Quinnipiac Tuesday night.

He began his spree with the Mountain Hawks (5-2) down 62-61, hitting a 3-pointer with 3:55 left.

Ike Azotam's two free throws tied it 15 seconds later, then McCollum made two foul shots, a layup, a 3-pointer and two more foul shots for a 73-64 cushion. After Dave Johnson's two free throws for the Bobcats (2-4), McCollum made two foul shots with 36 seconds left to end his run.

Gabe Knutson added 17 points for Lehigh.

Garvey Young's 16 points led Quinnipiac and Azotam had his 18th career double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
