Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher says the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference championship game against Georgia Tech is as important as any the Seminoles have played this season.

The No. 13 Seminoles (10-2, 7-1 ACC) will be a comfortable favorite against an unranked Yellow Jacket team (6-6, 5-3) that was shellacked by archrival Georgia 42-10 Saturday while Florida State was being beat up by fifth-ranked Florida 37-26.

In a final look at the Florida loss, Fisher said Monday that it's usually a game of inches when two good teams meet and Florida was clearly the best team the Seminoles faced this season.

Fisher refused to criticize quarterback EJ Manuel, who was intercepted three times and lost a fumble that set up the Gators' go-ahead touchdown.
