Red Bull New York announced on Monday that the club has come to terms on new contracts with both Brandon Barklage and Connor Lade. Per MLS and club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Barklage was signed by the club during the preseason and he went on to feature 19 times, including 16 starts, playing primarily as a right back.
He scored two goals and added five assists, which was good for third on the team.
Lade became the team's fifth Home Grown Player on Dec. 5, 2011 and enjoyed a standout rookie campaign as he appeared in 26 games, including 22 starts, while recording three assists.
"Both of these players had very strong seasons for us and have bright futures ahead," said Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh. "We are very pleased to recognize their play by agreeing to new contracts with each of them and we look forward to their contributions in the coming years."
