Isaiah McCray netted a career-high 18 points as Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne made a 13-point halftime advantage hold for a 70-66 nonconference win over Dartmouth Saturday.

The Mastodons (4-3) opened the game with a 22-13 lead, and rolled to a 37-24 halftime advantage. IPFW dominated the first half, closing with three consecutive Luis Jacobo 3-pointers and Joe Edwards' layup to set the 13-point advantage.

The double-digit lead held through the first three minutes of the second half before the Big Green (1-2) began to chip away. Dartmouth closed the gap to 66-63 on Alex Mitola's jumper with 2:40 left. After McCray hit a pair of free throws, Dartmouth's Jvonte Brooks hit a foul shot and John Golden two more to close the gap to 68-66.

But free throws by Edwards and McCray and a pair of missed 3-point attempts for Dartmouth ensured the IPFW win.
