Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson would love nothing more than to play the role of spoiler this week.

Any hopes of a bowl game ended in a loss at Mississippi State last week for the Razorbacks (4-7, 2-5 Southeastern Conference), who began the season ranked in the top 10.

Arkansas will end its season on Friday when it hosts No. 8 LSU (9-2, 5-2) in Razorback Stadium, the first time the Tigers have visited Fayetteville since 1992 — the Razorbacks' first season in the SEC. The game will likely mark the end of interim coach John L. Smith's tenure and open the door to an offseason of transition.

LSU still has hopes of playing for the SEC and national championships as well as playing in a BCS bowl game.
