The ATP World Tour and WTA tennis tournament in Memphis has been renamed. The former Regions Morgan Keegan Championships and Memphis International, respectively, have been rebranded and will now be known as the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships.
The events will be played February 16-24 at The Racquet Club of Memphis.
Some former champions in Memphis are Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, Pete Sampras, and Venus Williams. Last year's titlist in Memphis were Jurgen Melzer and Sofia Arvidsson.
The U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships is both an ATP 500 level event as well as a WTA International level event.
