Adam Link scored 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out three assists to lead Western Illinois past Yale on Sunday afternoon 59-47.

Western Illinois (3-2) trailed the Bulldogs 32-31 at halftime but outscored Yale 28-15 in the second half to close out a win. The Fighting Leathernecks shot 45.8 percent from the field, making 22 of 48, and were almost perfect from the free-throw line, hitting 10 of 11.

Link was one of three players in double figures for Western Illinois. Ceola Clark scored 12 points and added six assists and five rebounds. Jack Houpt had 10 points and four rebounds.

Yale (1-4) didn't have a player in double figures but had two with nine points in Brandon Sherrod and Javier Duren. Justin Sears had eight points and nine rebounds to go along with his four assists.
