Rees Macshara ran for a career-high 211 yards to finish the season with 1,013 yards, as Morehead State blew out Valparaiso 76-24 in Pioneer League play.

Morehead State (4-7, 3-5) exploded offensively, scoring the first 34 points of the game.

Macshara rushed for over 100 yards in six straight games and became the first 1,000-yard rusher for the Eagles since David Dinkins in 2000.

The Eagles totaled 696 total yards, and the 76 points scored is the most in school history against a Division I opponent.

Zach Lewis completed 12 of 14 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns, as Valparaiso (1-10, 1-7) could never recover.

Lewis' favorite target, Donte Sawyer, caught six passes — three for touchdowns — for a career-high 186 yards. Sawyer finishes his career with Morehead State records for single-season receiving yards (1,024), career receptions (199), career receiving yards (2,555) and career touchdowns (24).
