Kannon Burrage scored 19 points to lead UTSA to a 67-59 victory over South Carolina-Upstate on Saturday.

Jeromie Hill added 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Roadrunners (3-1), who trailed 26-12 with 5:20 left in the first half but closed the gap to 29-25 at halftime. Burrage, who had seven rebounds in the game, scored 12 of his points in the second half. His basket with 6:17 left gave the Roadrunners the lead for good at 48-46.

Torrey Craig led all scorers with 27 points for the Spartans (1-2). Ricardo Glenn added 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds for South Carolina-Upstate, and Ty Greene added 11 points for the Spartans.
