Englewood, CO – Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams' roster exemption has been lifted. He is now on the 53-man active roster.
Williams missed the first six games of the 2012 season for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. He missed the next three contests for an alcohol-related arrest.
The 30-year-old had 90 tackles and five sacks in 2011.
The Broncos play the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
