Adrian Coleman scored 20 points and Bethune-Cookman rallied in the second half for a 71-65 win over New Orleans on Friday night.

Trailing 58-46 with 6:18 to go, the Wildcats (1-2) embarked on a 14-0 run that changed the momentum of the game.

The Privateers' drought lasted 3 minutes, 33 seconds.

Coleman scored 11 of his game-high 20 in the second half, and pulled down 10 rebounds in the contest.

The Wildcats (1-2) also got 14 points from Alec Smith, 12 from Kevin Dukes and 11 from Paul Scotland.

The Privateers (1-2) were led by Lovell Cook's 18 points. He was their only double-figure scorer.

The Wildcats also shot 20 of 26 on free throws, while the Privateers were 9 of 14.

Bethune-Cookman got its first victory after losing to St. Bonaventure and Tulane by identical 65-55 scores.
