Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson won't test out his ailing hamstring until at least Friday, putting his status for this weekend's upcoming game with Arizona in question.

Nelson did not play in last Sunday's 24-15 victory over Jacksonville due to the injury, which he sustained in practice last week. The fifth-year pro leads the Packers with 532 receiving yards on 40 catches and has scored five touchdowns so far this season.

Fullback John Kuhn, also inactive for the Jacksonville game with a hamstring strain, will sit out Thursday's session as well, while rookie defensive end Jerel Worthy is still undergoing evaluation after suffering a concussion against the Jaguars.

The Packers also announced that wide receiver Greg Jennings will have surgery on his torn abdominal muscle in Philadelphia later in the week. The veteran, who has played in just three of Green Bay's first eight games due to the injury, had his original appointment postponed by superstorm Sandy.
