Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Brad Evans was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week for Week 32 of the MLS season on Monday.

Evans claimed the honor for the first time in his career by scoring a pair of goals in Seattle's 3-1 win over FC Dallas on Sunday, which moved the club into second place in the Western Conference.

The first goal of the match came just after the half-hour mark courtesy of a penalty kick from Evans, while he scored the go-ahead goal in the 60th minute from Christian Tiffert's pass after Blas Perez equalized for Dallas.

The MLS Player of the Week award is selected each week by the North American Soccer Reporters. The group consists of members of online, print, television, radio media.
