Brooklyn, NY – The Brooklyn Nets have exercised the third- year contract option on guard MarShon Brooks.
As a rookie last season, Brooks started 47 of the 56 games in which he played, averaging 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
The Providence product is now signed through the 2013-14 campaign.
