Curitiba, Brazil – Former Fenerbahce midfielder Alex has decided to return to Brazil after spending the past eight years with the Turkish side.
The 35-year-old left Fenerbahce last month after appearing in 242 games for the team, and after drawing interest from other European clubs, decided to return to Brazil on a free transfer with Coritiba, where he began his career.
Alex earned 49 caps for Brazil during his international career, while also spending time with Palmeiras, Flamengo, Parma and Cruzeiro.
