The Baltimore Ravens have placed cornerback Lardarius Webb on injured reserve and elevated running back Bobby Rainey from the practice squad.

Webb tore the ACL in his left knee Sunday in Baltimore's 31-29 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Rainey, a rookie free agent from Western Kentucky, rushed 23 times for 55 yards in four preseason games with Baltimore. He also had 14 catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

The 5-foot-8, 212-pound Rainey played in 44 games with Western Kentucky.

Baltimore is expected to put linebacker Ray Lewis on injured reserve later this week. Lewis tore his right triceps in Sunday's game and is lost for the season.
