The New York Yankees made a slight modification to their roster for their American League Championship Series against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.

The Yankees have decided to carry right-handed reliever Cody Eppley instead of infielder Eduardo Nunez.

Nunez played in three games during the ALDS, going 1-for-5 with two runs scored.

Meanwhile, Eppley went 1-2 with a 3.33 ERA in 59 games for the Yankees during the regular season.

The Yankees elected to take 12 pitchers into the ALCS against the Tigers.
