Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, Chicago Bears cornerback Tim Jennings and Minnesota Vikings kick returner/wide receiver Percy Harvin have been named the NFC offensive, defensive and special teams Players of the Month for September.

Ryan completed 102-of-147 passes for 1,162 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions while guiding the Falcons to a 4-0 start, the third in franchise history. He led the league with a 112.1 passer rating.

Jennings led the league with four interceptions and registered a pick in three of the Bears' four games. He is part of a defensive unit that led the NFL with 14 takeaways and 11 interceptions.

Harvin caught 30 passes for 299 yards during the month as the Vikings went 3-1. He also led the NFL averaging 38.3 yards per kick return and had a 105- yard kick return for a touchdown, the longest play in team history.
