Ogden, UT – The Big Sky Conference announced Tuesday that Montana State defensive end Caleb Schreibeis has been issued a one-game suspension for an illegal hit on a defenseless receiver.
The play took place early in the fourth quarter of the Bobcats' 24-17 victory over Southern Utah this past Saturday. Schreibeis made illegal contact with an unnamed SUU wide receiver and it was later reviewed and determined illegal by Big Sky officials.
Schreibeis, a senior from Billings, Mont., will serve his suspension on Saturday when MSU plays on the road against UC Davis.
